Lindsey Hilsum reflects on how the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi has transformed the lives of Libyans. She will analyse his legacy, examining the role of the militias and different political factions emerging in the new Libya, and explore the implications of the change of regime for neighbouring countries. Her account will be based on her experiences reporting from Libya and will coincide with the publication of her book Sandstorm: Libya in the Time of Revolution
