Ahead of Libya’s third Universal Periodic Review at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on 11 November 2020, Lawyers for Justice in Libya has prepared the following Fact Sheet, summarising key concerns and recommendations to the Libyan authorities on several priority issues: Targeting of civilians; enforced disappearances; rights of women, rights of migrants and refugees; and freedom of association and peaceful assembly.
